And we have plywood! Tomorrow's pics will include shingles!
I have been knitting and crocheting since my Mom taught me as a child, I started quilting sometime in college, and my most recent obsession is spinning.

Felted Slipper and Kool-Aid!
So the Kool-Aid dyed yarn has become a very pretty center-pull ball, and is in the process of becoming slippers!
I will continue to post as I make progress, but I had to show off the really neat center-pull ball I made! I rolled it, nostepinne-style on a toilet paper tube.
My friend Ana said it looked like a yummy little apple. I have to agree!

Addition!
This is the start to an addition we are putting on our house. There used to be a small porch, and we are enlarging it and putting a shed roof over it. Here it is partially finished.

Silly quiz
But I like the results!
What kind of knitting needles are you?
You are interchangeable.Fun, free, and into everything, you've got every eventuality covered and every opportunity just has to be taken. Every fiber is wonderful, and every day is a new beginning. You are good at so many things, it's amazing, but you can easily lose your place and forget to show up. They have row counters for people like you!

Happy Birthday, SIL!
This is a cute little trivet I made for my SIL for her birthday. It's made from scraps of the coat I made her for Christmas a few years ago.
Yarn Pr0n!
I think this is what the Kool-Aid man meant when he said "Oh Yeah!"
This is the remaining yarn from Fuzzy Feet. I think I'm going to make my own pair, but I didn't want just white. So, I searched through the closet, found some lemon and lemon-lime Kool Aid, and voila! I can't wait to see how this comes out.
Look at it, lounging on the chair, saying "Hey, bebe. You know you want to knit me."
Okay, that's enough personifying yarn for one day.

Pile 'O Corn
Very productive day today, I got 8 of the corn bags done that are for the Farmer's Market. I think I"ll stop here, make a few other handmade things to sell and see how they do.

Yay Corn!
So over Christmas I had a horrible kink in my neck. Dad had a pillow that my aunt had made that was filled with corn. Nuke it, and you have instant moist heat. I loved it so much I made some, and my friend Ana will be selling the extras at the Farmer's market this Spring. Hopefully after this next weekend I'll have a whole pile of them to take a picture of!
Knit FOs and Yarn PR0N!
So first up is my finished Soleil! Yay for me!
Next up is some gorgeous yarn that will make up a felted vest. The blue has dark blue spots along it, which I think will knit up beautifully. This yarn and the pattern are both Christmas presents from my Mom. Thanks mom!
I also finished DH's fuzzy feet, and they're featured here on a bathmat I crocheted out of Homespun
Finally, a scarf that I made as an emergency gift for Christmas. You know, when someone gives you something and you have nothing to give them. It's pretty anyway.
